Champions League continues...in August?

While countries around the world keep on working to flatten the curve of the current pandemia, us football fans receive a little sppon of hope to see the top competitions being continued. Of course the competition most desired to comeback is the UEFA Champions League, but how long are we willing to wait?

In the french media RTL the president of Olympique de Lyon, Jean-Michel Aulas talk about the arrangement for Champions League 2019-2020 season to be continued on August 7th.
He stated: "The game against Juventus is confirmed for the 7th of August, in Turin, behind close doors".
Ligue 1 has already come to the decision of ending the 2019-2020 season, and named PSG as the champions of the season. On the other hand Serie A is closer every day to continue the current season returning rythym to the Italian clubs towards the resume of the Champions League. Aulas also talked about it: "If the appeals are not successful, it is to send Lyon and PSG to be massacred by teams that will have a preparation that the others do not have." Let's remember Olympique Lyon won the first leg in Lyon over C. Ronaldo's team.

On the other hand there has not been yet an official announcement by UEFA.
